You’re in the Wright Place!
A driving force of Frank Lloyd Wright was the desire for organic architecture in his designs — indeed, he felt that form would arise out of function rather than vice-versa. Take the time to visit even one of his designs and I think you will understand the meaning of that desire.
This website was created to give fellow Wright enthusiasts an online guide to learning about and visiting the homes and buildings he designed. We have also chosen to include some of the notable designs of FLW apprentices.
FrankLloydWrightSites.com will continue to grow and change as we visit more Sites! I hope you join us on this journey and enjoy your visit to FLWSites!

For May, we’re spotlighting Wright’s Prairie-style houses. These homes, popular in the early 20th century, were designed to echo the vast Midwestern landscape. Architecture and home design have always fascinated me. As a young girl I enjoyed drawing floor plans, rearranging my parent’s furniture and playing with Lincoln Logs and Legos. My passion has always been the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Since I have been old enough to drive a car, I have visited Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the Chicagoland area and attended the Wright Plus house walks. Now, as co-owners of Northern Sky Designs, my husband & I are able to combine our website design skills and FLW travels to bring you this website! Enjoy!
